   Captured on the onset of "I Love Lucy"'s success, The Long Long Trailer is a fabulously inventive film which captures the magic of Desi and Lucy from "I Love Lucy". This film is definitely a wonderful production, and was a comedy hit at the box office in 1954.
   "I Love Lucy" fans had the pleasure of seeing their favorite TV couple star together in a film. Although Lucy and Desi had appeared in the film Too Many Girls in 1940, this time, they were married and internationally known as superstars of the television industry.
   Most Lucy and Desi fans find this film rewarding, rare and amusing to watch, particularly for its genuine, humorous plot, as well as for the spark of Lucy and Desi working together
   Production began shortly after the birth of Desi Arnaz Jr., and the "I Love Lucy" show was more successful than ever. With the birth of 'little Ricky' on the show, they captured the eyes of America, as millions and millions of viewers tuned in to "I Love Lucy" every Monday night.
   It is quite simple to say that the promotional ability of "The Long, Long Trailer" was actually very strong.

P L O T   S U M M A R Y
Nicky (Desi Arnaz) and Tacy (Lucille Ball), a newly wed couple, negotiate their preferences for their future home. Nicky wants to buy a house, but Tacy wants to buy a trailer to reduce any forms of inconvenience while travelling. Nicky is finally convinced, but they head for a lot of trouble on the road. Tacy tries to cook while the trailer is moving, Nicky disrupts a house when trying to park the trailer in a drive way and they hang from a cliff when driving through the mountains...
